In this post last month I shared that readers had downloaded over 500 books and said I wanted to see that number over 600 for the month of April. Our #SmutSluts pulled it off! In April you added 639 FREE books to your kindles!
For me the best part of blogging is getting to share the love of books with all of our readers. Nothing makes Trish and me happier than when you share your new favorite reads with us on our facebook page. We love talking books with people, it warms my cold little heart.
But, April wasn’t just busy with free books, there were tons of paid for books added to kindles as well. The following list of books were my top sellers in April. Are any of these on your kindles?
TOP THREE BEST SELLERS
I haven’t reviewed this book yet, but I fLoved Zeke. If you haven’t met the Powers brothers yet start with book one, Gable (See below) before you move on to this one. Both books are only $0.99 and they are worth every penny.
Zeke Powers should’ve come with a warning label.

Another $0.99 read that flew on kindles in April. I haven’t read this one yet, but after reading the description I can see why this one was a top download for the month. Make sure and pick up Part 2 and Part 3 while you’re grabbing book one. They are all priced at under a dollar making them a cheap read.

Wow, Harper has been kicking butt on our site the last few months. She’s made the best sellers list multiple times and won us over with her hot heroes. I loved Gable just like I loved Zeke (#1 seller above). Really, these are two $0.99 boys you need to buy. See my review here.
I realized I was actually flattered by what he’d said about me, and it horrified me that I’d feel that way about being objectified and i wanted to smack myself in the head as I tried figuring out where my self-respect had gone.
I haven’t read this book, but I’ve heard some early reports from the #SmutSluts and it seems to be one everyone is loving. At least a few of you picked this book up in April, once you finish I want to hear what you thought of it.

I don’t do many sports stars and I really don’t know why. I have nothing against them, but I rarely pick them up. That may change after so many of you grabbed this box set.

Asa (Marked Men) by Jay Crownover – I haven’t read this book yet, but I enjoyed the rest of the tattooed heroes in the Marked Men series so I’m sure I’ll pick it up eventually.
Beautiful Secret (The Beautiful Series) by Christina Lauren – I have a love hate relationship with some of the books in this series. Some I love and some I hate. Depending on what your reviews come back with I’ll probably pick this book up…eventually.
Fighting Silence (On the Ropes #1) by Aly Martinez – We talked about this book a little on our facebook page and it seems like people were really loving it. I haven’t one clicked it yet, but I am planning to sometime in May. I like the story line of a fighter losing his hearing, sounds angsty.
IMPULSE: Infinitus Billionaire by E.B. Walters – At first I thought this was a novella series (which you know I hate) but I just noticed that this book looks complete at over 300 pages.
Lick (Stage Dive #1) by Kylie Scott – I love this book. I mean really I fLoved this book! Lick is funny, sexy, everything. Just click it.
My Stepbrother the Dom (Stepbrother Romance) by Arabella Quinn – Stepbrothers were big last month and it looks like a few continued the trend to this month.
Portland Storm: The First Period by Catherine Gayle- Hot Hockey players? I think this is a must read at some point.
Shadowboxer by Cari Quinn – Loved this book. It’s just a little bit deep and dark, but I think it could appeal to a ton of readers. Check out my review here.
Sweet Home (Sweet Home Series #1) by Tillie Cole – You #Smutsluts snatched up all FOUR of the books in this series. I’ve considered reading this series a few times, but never made the leap. I’m thinking after seeing how they were grabbed up this month I might bump them up my list.
The Accidental Assassin (The Assassins Book #1) by Nichole Chase – I read this book in April and found it to be a funny and quick paced book. Check out my review here.
Thrust by Victoria Ashley – I haven’t read anything by this author yet and I have no idea why. After seeing this book on my best seller list I think it might be my VA read.
Trusting the Surface by Rosie C. – This is a short book (under 200 pages) but it’s a cheap read as well at only $0.99. I honestly haven’t heard much about it at all so I’ll be looking forward to reviews from our #SmutSluts.
Wait for You by J. Lynn – I LOVED this book by J.Lynn (otherwise known as Jennifer L. Armentrout). It was the first book I read from her even before I made my way to her young adult stuff. And Wait for You is NOT young adult, it’s spicy and sweet. Just click it.
You and I Alone by Melissa Toppen – I haven’t read this one yet, but I’ve met the author Melissa (and loved her) so I can’t wait to read this one. It’s actually on my short list of books I need to finish up.
